Child Memory Lab
Family Development Research Centre
Family Development Research Centre
The Family Development Research Centre is located at the Emmanuel at Brighton Child Care Centre, and hosts our off-site lab facilities. This location contains a large classroom for conducting interviews/lessons with an adjacent parent/researcher observation area. Undergraduate students in developmental psychology classes at Wilfrid Laurier University also use this space to observe child interactions as part of their in-class assignments. In addition to using the Family Development Research Centre, much of our research occurs on-site at local day cares and elementary schools.

Observation Suite
Our lab consists of four areas in the Science Building. In these areas we conduct the majority of our research and data analysis. The main lab has a child activity/interview room with an adjacent parent viewing area so that parents can watch as their children participate in research.
